In my first year of working in trauma surgery, as a young, novice doctor on the night shift, I was surprised by an 80-year-old doctor who had a large laceration on his head and forehead. I treated him as best I could. I still remember his words after he had looked at the stitched wound in the mirror with satisfaction: "You should be a plastic surgeon, Doctor." And from that night on, that idea began to take root in my mind.

Turning points
1980-2005
I was born on October 11, 1980, in Poprad. I completed my secondary education at the local gymnasium, graduating in 1999. In the same year, I enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine, P. J. Šafárik University in Košice, which I successfully graduated from in 2005.
2005-2010
Immediately after graduation, I began working full-time at the Department of Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery in Poprad. There, I gained valuable skills in performing complex surgeries on almost all parts of the human body, often in life-saving situations. This experience gave me a deep understanding of tissues, the necessary tactile sensitivity, and the ability to remain composed in any situation. In 2010, I successfully completed my specialization in Trauma Surgery through board certification, becoming a certified trauma surgeon.
2010-2014
In 2010, professional circumstances brought Dr. Dušan Červeň and me together. We immediately connected on a professional level, and he offered me the opportunity to work by his side in Banská Bystrica in aesthetic plastic surgery. I joined in March 2011 and gradually mastered the most successful surgical techniques, honed over many years of experience. In 2014, I successfully passed the specialization exam in Plastic Surgery, earning an additional board certification.
2014 - 2019
For a plastic surgeon, the most valuable experience comes from performing a large number of surgeries. I was fortunate that, both during my time in trauma surgery and later in plastic surgery at the AESTHETICA clinic, there was never a dull moment, and the operating room became my second home. The thousands of successfully treated patients stand as proof of this.
2019 +
To best meet our clients’ needs and satisfy the rapidly growing demand for our services, I moved to the new premises of MEDICENTRUM in Zvolen, where I can further develop my team and offer our clients only the very best from the world of plastic and aesthetic surgery. To maintain the highest standards, I regularly attend domestic and international courses, congresses, and other educational activities. Over the years, I have enriched time-tested procedures with innovative surgical techniques, ensuring the highest possible quality of our services.
