Process of the operation
This is a surgical procedure under general anesthesia, lasting approximately 1-2 hours, during which the enlarged mammary gland is removed with possible liposuction of the surrounding fatty tissue. The resulting scars are around the areola (semicircular shape), possibly under the nipple and in the inframammary groove. A drain is temporarily inserted into each breast to drain any secretions.
Postoperative Regime
The procedure requires 1 night in the clinic, an escort upon departure, and a six-week postoperative regimen. To minimize the risk of complications, it is necessary to wear a compression belt and avoid physical exertion for at least 6 weeks after the operation. Check-ups are after the first, second, and sixth weeks after the operation.
