Breast augmentation with silicone implants is a procedure that is performed for several reasons. The main ones are small breasts (breast hypoplasia), slightly sagging breasts, or congenital breast asymmetry. Augmentation can achieve the desired appearance and size of the breasts.

Process of the operation
This is a surgical procedure under general anesthesia, lasting approximately 1 hour, during which a pre-arranged incision is made in the skin to create a space under the pectoralis major muscle, the implants are inserted, and the wounds are sutured. There are 2 basic types of silicone breast implants: anatomical or round. Both contain cohesive medical silicone gel and their surface is smooth or textured. The implants have different dimensions: width, height, volume, and projection. The implants can be inserted through the armpit, from the inframammary crease, or from around the areola, and are mostly placed under the pectoralis major muscle. This type of placement does not cause any problems with breastfeeding, mammography, sonography, CT, or MRI.
Postoperative Regime
The procedure requires 1 night in the clinic, an escort upon departure and a six-week postoperative regimen. We recommend taking analgesics (painkillers) as needed. For the first 10 days after the operation, it is necessary to wear a postoperative bra and belt continuously and not to shower the upper body. For 6 weeks after the operation, it is necessary to wear a compression postoperative bra (the first 3 weeks non-stop and the next 3 weeks at night), be physically gentle, sleep on your back and limit driving as much as possible to minimize the risk of possible complications. Check-ups are after 10 days and in the sixth week after the operation, ideally every year thereafter. We do not recommend getting pregnant a year after the operation due to possible alternation of the resulting effect after augmentation. The definitive result can be expected in 3 to 6 months, depending on individual healing.
