Hypertrophic breasts are breasts of above-average size, ptotic (sagging) breasts are breasts of subjectively deteriorated aesthetic shape, which are caused by loss of volume and/or elasticity of the skin, which is associated with a decrease in the position of the areola and nipple, often asymmetrically on the right and left sides. The client has health problems (orthopedic, neurological, skin) or psychological problems or such breasts limit her in everyday life (for example, in sports or in choosing clothes).
Both reduction mammaplasty and mastopexy remove excess breast tissue and reshape the remaining breast tissue and excess skin to reposition the nipple-areola complex in an aesthetically pleasing position. The goal of the procedure is to completely reshape the breasts.

Process of the operation
This is a surgical procedure under general anesthesia, lasting approximately 2-3 hours, during which the areola with the nipple is moved to a new position, the mammary gland is reduced/modeled, excess skin and breast tissue are removed. The resulting scars are around the areola and vertically downwards (lollipop shape), if necessary also in the bra crease (anchor shape). A drain is temporarily inserted into each breast to drain any secretions.
Postoperative Regime
The procedure requires 1 night in the clinic and an escort upon departure. To minimize the risk of possible complications, it is necessary to wear a bra, exercise sparingly and sleep on your back for at least 6 weeks after the operation. Check-ups are after the first, second and sixth weeks after the operation. The final appearance of the breasts can be expected after 3 months after the operation, depending on the individual healing.
