The following procedures are intended to beautify facial skin:
- Face lift
- Midface lift
- Temple lifting
- Forehead lifting
- Eyebrow lift
Process of the operation
This is a surgical procedure under general or local anesthesia, in the supine position, lasting approximately three to four hours, during which the skin on the face and neck is conditioned, the SMAS layer (superficial muscular-ligamentous system) is strengthened with sutures and sagging tissues are tightened, excess skin is removed and the wounds are sutured. The resulting scars are located in the hairline in front of the ear, around the earlobe and into the hairline. To achieve the desired result, it is sometimes necessary to combine this procedure with liposuction of the chin.
Postoperative Regime
The procedure requires one night in the clinic, an escort upon departure and a six-week postoperative regimen. After the operation, an elastic bandage is left on the face for at least 6 days. The stitches are removed on the seventh day, if necessary. For the first week, it is recommended to sleep in a semi-sitting position and take anti-edema medication Aescin 3×2 tbl. The follow-up check-up is in a month. The definitive result can be expected in 3 to 6 months, depending on individual healing.
